Hello, my recently purchased 1988 V8 90 came with a fitted set of steel wheels with Simex Extreme Trekkers Centipedes fitted(that sound ;)like a scud missile on the road), and Cyclone alloys with BFGs for the road.
Question: when attempting to fit the alloys, the studs are too short - help!
Just to complicate matters the beast has discs front and rear (from an '88 RR Classic, according to the paperwork).
Can I just fit longer studs and alloy wheel nuts?

Believe that is the accepted practice. The studs you need have a marking on the outer end to denote the length. If you get studs suited for an RRC they should fit as most of the later ones came with alloy wheels (over here, all of them did from their introduction on).
