Nodge68 Well-Known Member Jan 6, 2019 #2 Maybe because it's got a garbage engine. The TD4 can hardly be described as powerful, with just 112 BHP to its name. If it's worse than it was, then look at vacuum pipes for leaks, oil goop in the inlet tract and MAF sensor on its way out.

Just had a new maf sensor it is definitely worse than what it was

Arctic2 Well-Known Member Jan 6, 2019 #4 New Maf could be faulty unplug it and see if it is any better if so you know the maf is most likely the fault, as above check intercooler hoses for tiny holes or splits,
