hello all does anyone no why my 02 rr only defrosts on the left hand side of the heated wind screen

The elements have gone, you wont be able to fix it im sorry to say the wires are 1 in the laminated screen and 2 even if you could get at them there far too thin to fix

If im wrong, someone will say im sure

I suppose I'm lucky as its the pasenger side which doesn't work on mine. Comprehensive insurance is the only answer...

Might want to look at the fuses before you get too carried away. I am sure they have one for each side.

Although the windscreen has two separate heating elements they are both powered from the same relay. The fuse is situated before the relay so, if one element works, the problem is not related to fuses.
