White smoke

Hello landyzone aficionados
Stustrong was my inspiration .
Issue 1) engine light whistle Tdv8 diesel L322 2009
70000 miles 2) white smoke and then all degrading run slow but engine start with heavy noise 3) white smoke from left exhaust driver side here in Normandy.
Don't believe it's injectors, but inlet manifold?? Etc .... superb L322 bought in 2021only 72000km 48000 miles now 70000 miles . Any clue from enlighten members

My mechanic thinks 1 or 3 injectors bad
Siemens, on L322 when engine has irregular and rough rythme, hoses may be not only issues, some think intercooler
Manifold inlet , crank case etc a bunch of issues turbo leaks ? Well only a L322 owner tdv8 with similar history could start
to find answer, 70000miles is not high mileage, is Stustrong still on forum ?

Does it lose coolant in any way?
Usually a stuck open injector will produce a foul smelling diesel odeur from the exhaust, the injector fuel returns may be tested with the injectors in situ, the results of all injectors can be compared. Any more than a 10% difference and the injector/s are considered faulty.
White smoke can be fuel or condensation related. The smell of an over fueling injector is undeniable plus the oil level on the engine can go up from fuel dilation. 🤔

Diesel L322 if mechanic knowledgeable still not an easy task i confess this is beyond me . No , cooler there no overheating. what bother me , engin doesn't run smoothly anymore. Whistling was noticeable 6 weeks before complete degradation but engin was still going full speed , Until no possibility to manœuvre the vehicle which happened brutally.

It's not an injector the smoke is the wrong colour

So am puzzled because he thinks 2 or 3 injectors cause this , white smoke may not be enough of a clue ? At this point until mechanic has not open the beast yet we don't know , turbo manifold etc can play a part , he try to save time and money by pinpointing the culprit ahead of hands on
