I have just collected my new(to me) RR and when I got home I can't unlock the rear passenger door with the key fob. The other 3 doors open ok? But when driving away it locks just fine???? I am a novice and am not mechanically minded, so will have to get my little brother to help,nodes anyone have any ideas?? Would be so grateful many thanks Tracy xx

If you bought it from a dealer-get them to fix it for free

Was a private sale unfortunately - it locks but not unlocks.

that clearly depends on whether the OP tries to rive fook out of the lock or use the gentle approach.

My son has a TD5 Discovery with a similar problem. He thinks he will have to replace the latch at some time but its not really a big problem for him as he rarely takes people in the back.

Suggest you get someone to take door card off and check it out. It could just need cleaning up and lubricating to get it working again. If the latch can't be fixed, consider sourcing a replacement from a scrappie.
