Due to a general lack of brain control l have bought 2 new L322 headlights in the vain belief l could fit them on to my P38.

It looks as if l will need to cut some plastic lugs off the top of the units to get them to fit under the slam panel - has anyone fitted these lights to a P38 or is this too much hassle:cool:

there was one for sale on ebay a while ago from a memebr on here

will see if i can find the details

have seen a few done so def poss but not sure how much work involved there a p38 with conversion done on ebay for under £4000 at the min not bad as some places charging £6000-£7000k for the front end conversion

sad- what a waste of time. If you can not afford a l322-don't look like a wanabe

i like the look it gives, new RRs are two a pennie where as p38s are rarer, an with a conversion just gives it a better look

Let me know how it goes. a step by step if you get a chance.

not rarer , just in garages being repaired more or been broken up for some of the good parts. cant name any off the top of my head though:D

They look awefull. They are the wrong size and shape to fit the P38 wings and bonnet. Dont do it unless you have thousands to spend in the body shop.

the l322 headlights look a bit square the sport headlights and grill fit the p38 better i find,.

the 322 head lights come right down to the bumper and take away from the natural lines of the car,

these however seem to be similar in size to the original,

better than

imo

im considering buying a 2002 diesel manual range and doing the sport upgrade and l322 rear upgrade,

i prefer manuals and i cant get a l322 in manual so this to me would be the best of both worlds.
