S spitfire Active Member Feb 19, 2010 #2 Hi, Sorry is it petrol or diesel? If diesel they can suffer with injector failure which gives a rough lumpy idle but picks up at speed. Manual cars also suffer with duel mass flywheel issues which give a rough idle that needs a rev to smooth out.
