as above really gents, press the button on steering wheel, it lights red for about a second, then goes off again, but fails to warm up, any ideas?

Hi mate, mine had this exact same issue, it is the heating element in the steering wheel, the only way to get it working is to replace the wheel. I replaced mine with a new heated wheel and it all works now, and i will tell you what the heated wheel is the best thing since sliced bread!!
