"Major Defect" on recent MOT - "Headlamp aim so that beam "kickup" is not visible on the screen offside front"
Any suggestions to remedy???

I would say if you cant see the kick up if you shine the lights on to a wall its more than likely down to the bulb, there are two adjusters one for up down and one for left right, think its allen key job dont ask me where they are I wouldnt be able to say without having a look at mine tomorrow.

Have you checked that somebody hasn’t moved the small lever which would allow you to drive on the other side of the road (Europe).
It’s small and could get knocked/ move accidentally while changing a bulb.
When the lever is moved it just knocks the kick up off the dip beam.
I can’t remeber which way it should be but worth a look.

Take the big back cap off as if you where going to change the bulb.
Bend you head and neck into funny position to look inside,to the side of the bulb you should see a little plastic lever looking thing. It will move up or down ( don’t force it it moves very easy) not much movement but just moves a little flap in front of the bulb.
If you do it against a wall that you can see the light on mark the wall with tape where it shines. Turn lights off and move lever. Lights on and see if any difference.
Once you know where the levers are you can change them over in 1min without having to look in the hole.
Worth a quick look anyway.

I assume you are talking about your car in your pic ?

Not sure all vehicles have that feature.
