Hi all. Im looking to install an i pod in my l322 and have heard that I need to disconnect the cd changer. is this correct or are there spare phono sockets on the rear so that i can have an external ipod thing where its still controlled by the ipod and just plugs into it usi a head phone jack.... Also how do i remove the head unit?? Cheers

You really need to do some more research on this as it has been covered many times it is not as simple as connecting an ipod/phono wire to the system. The only way to connect an ipod is either by upgrading the radio module to the BMW BM54 unit or by using a range rover AUX adapter provided by urban rovers Range Rover iPod, iPhone, aux, audio connection kit
