The power to the glove box button on my 2008 L322 has given up the ghost and I can’t now open the glove box. The button works when tested, and as the courtesy light below the glove box is now non-functional (bulb is good), then it seems obvious that power has failed. Can someone point me at the fuse that will have blown, or another fix that I am unaware of? I have checked the fuses in the boot, a mention of a blown fuse 16 in another thread hasn’t proved of help; mine is still good.

None of this would be a problem, however the locking wheel nut is in the glove box…

Google also brings up loads of threads on various forums, saying to check if you can hear the motor trying to operate. If so, push the box "more closed" to ease the tension on the latch while pressing the button ??

No power at all, the light on the switch isn’t working and no sound of the relay working; all fuses are good. Any ideas?

No idea. You will probably need to try tracing the wiring. Maybe someone on rr.net L322 section will answer your post there. . . . . .. or investigate removing part of the dash.

Glove box problems been mentioned a few times over on fullfatrr forum might be worth having a look on there.

Just in case it's the switch, look at this vid. At least then you can get to the wires & see if there's volts getting to it. Maybe even apply 12V to the release motor ?
