Hi, following on from finding I had a fault code up for egr valve I was advised to buy a blanking kit, which I fitted today, but since fitting it the pipe from intercooler keeps blowing off. I,m going to remove it again tomorrow and see if I can get the hose down the kit further and perhaps get two clips to secure it, but just wanted to know if it just that I,m not getting it tightened enough or could something else be the causing the high pressure. I actually stripped one clip getting it tight enough so its not that I,m putting them on loose.

Did you make sure the pipes were free from oil, as that dont help ether tends to let the hoses slide a bit.

Mikalor are great I have them. Thought L322 weren’t suitable for EGR blanking like many more modern MAF systems?

You can sell some people any crap as long as you say it gives more power and MPG. Which EGR blanking doesn't. It keeps the inlet tracts cleaner though.

id blank it if the vehicle/MOT station don’t object. Less sh!te being pumped into your manifold is better IMO

Ok thanks for replies, the problem is the height and position of the lip on tube, I shall try and get a better securing type of clip but was concerned I was doing damage by fitting the blanking kit Who would believe that something so simple could be so awkward.
