I have a 2005 RR Vogue. The bluetooth used to work with my old SE phone, but stopped working when I got a new android handset.

It paired with the car, but when a call connected - I just got a loud high pitched sound and the call disconnected.

After a lot of searching, i discovered that the problem is caused by "old" software on the nokia bluetooth unit (which is the same one as on discover D3).

By using the service below provided by a user on a land rover discovery forum (disco3 dot co dot uk), i was able to swap my BT unit for a replacement, and it now works!!! Not only can i make and receive calls, but i get access to the phone address book on the car display.

I hope i'm allowed to post links;

DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - Bluetooth Module Exchange Service

If not, please send me a message, and i'll put you in touch.

Or just search for bluetooth module exchange disco3

I hope this helps someone else. I think the dealersjust want to replace the unit which will cost you a lot more!!
