My l322 gremlins keep coming, still trying to fix the indicator.

Firstly, when on a longish run say over 10 miles, the temperature guage creeps up last night on the motorway the coolent temp warning flashed up and power was lost couldnt get it over 50mph. stopped let it cool down then drove it home no further problems. except you can hear the fan working when you couldn't before.
I had a friend look at it and it showed up no faults on the computer and no obvious leaks, he seemed to think it might be a sticking fan or dodgy switch, my untechnical words not his. Just wondered if anyone has had similar problems.

Secondly again when on the Motorway the wing mirrors notable the off side twitch most annoying.

Hope someone may shed some light on these issues etc...

Sorry Should have said its 3.0 TD6

the fan is viscous so not controlled with any electonics, i would get the rad took out and check for crap that gathers inbetween the rads. you wouldnt believe the crap that was there on the last one i did, water pump is another thing to check as there impeller comes loose and spins on the shaft.
