hi folks my mate has a hawkey diagnosis kit for his Td5 discovery it worked on my old P38 aswell I was just wondering if it would work on a 06 sport l320 as he is selling his discovery and has offered me the hawkey

some told me I need a black adapter for it to acces the Sport?
not sure I would want to spend money on a adapter if not needed
