Hi guys and girls, I posted a thread a year ago regarding my 2007 range rover 2.7 tdv6 it just cut out when driving and upon a small inspection I could see the Offside inlet camshaft carrier had snapped!!
So a year later and I've finally got around to getting the car up to where I live now!!
Today I started to strip the covers off to see what the cause was, and I can confirm it's the cambelt tensioner mounting point that has snapped off the oil pump!! So it's going to be a body off job and I'm going to replace the heads and sort the old girl out!!

Yep it's the turbo/manifolds that would be the worst thing to get off in situ!! So I'm just taking the body off! Luckily I can
Thats a ridiculous design error. The Mercedes v6 3.0d oil cooler oil seals are another stupid bloody error as well. Luckily you can... Pictures for those of us who are just plain nosey ;)
