Hiya,
Quick question if I may... Range Rover 3.5 V8 2007
There is a knocking sound when I pull away, in any way but very gently... Its worse when I've been over sleeping policemen or a very bumpy road...or cornered quickly.
The knocking starts of slowly, and then gets faster before trailing off.
It disappears as I go over about 20 mph or so..
I've had suggestions from transfer box to prop shaft to CV joints.
As you can imagine, taking the wrong route will be unnecessarily expensive, so I wonder if you nice people her have heard of such, or could spread some light and advice on this..?
Many thanks in advance.

First place to look would be the prop UJ's, they are a quite common failure item usually due to lack of greasing.
I doubt it's the transfer box.
CV joints tend to knock more when steering lock is applied.
