Mr Noisy

Coming in your ears.
Hey guys

So the v8 hasn't been out for ages, I sorted the MOT this week and I've probably got a free Sunday.

As such, I'm getting an itchy petrol flap! :D

Would be looking at North Wales jobby as its close enough to us, would be good to see some mates but equally meet new faces!

No particular vehicle requirements as long as you don't mind a scratch, know how to drive and a sense of humour :)

CB is important though!

I like an early start so would naturally get going on the lanes around 8am or something.

Lets see how this develops over next few days, maybe we can get a plan together, I will plan a route.

So, potentially:

1. Mr Noisy
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Cheers :)

Glad you said petrol sam!
whatever happened to this "derbyshire laners does wales" run that was spoken about? I missed the lakes run due to a wonky trans bearing but id be up for a wales run/weekend sometime :D cant make the 11th bit short notice but give me/us plenty of advance warning and im sure we'd all make it!

hey matt/pete

ok well 1. lets see what happens and i'll text you if im in the area

2. ive been off the scene past few months so the last time i was out laning was april.

some plans got changed this week so sunday is free but will get the text out as and when for the 'derbyshire laners does wales' thing next time i get chance to plan ahead :)

Yeah that's fair enough John no worries pal, been off the scene for a while but looking forward to seeing you boys soon.

I'm pretty itchy to get out on Sunday but if I can't find any friends I'll be all alone :(

Ere Noisy, let me know what your plans are. I got the V8, I suppose I can buy fuel and I'm already in N.Wales.

No worries Sam, if it happens - it happens!

Been a bit busy myself today, stripped down both rear hubs, checked bearings & seals, regreased and put back together. Anyway, I think you've got my number, drop me a text or something and we'll go from there. Cheers.

Hi Noisy, got your text.

Have driven your proposed start point twice this week. It is dry and easy going but a bit tight in places, enough to fold a door mirror anyway. I'll drop you a PM.

Oh hey Sue, well tbh I think that's a good idea, but the vast majority of people up this end use channel 10, I think it's to do with Parkwood using 10 maybe.

Anyway I will now transmit on 10, 19 and 16 if trying to reach local 4x4s :)

A cracking day out; the hills were alive with V8 music!

Thanks Noisy (and Mike) for the nav and gate opening. Must do it again some time.

Hope you had a good journey home.

Made it home on true song at 3000 rpm and 15:1 AFR, practically cheap motoring!

Good blast out really helped it today!

Great to get out with you today Kev, as you say, the v8 club could be a new sensation! :D

All the best :)

well I passed a few, on the lanes a white disco and a black defender, on the road on the way home a black? (muddy) disco flashed me :)
