Firstly have a great 2015 guys

So I need some advice, Im getting a warning of low battery in key fob on the dash, so if I just change the batteries do I then have to re-sink the key

You have to change them within 1 minute if i remember right, full instrucions in rave the workshop manual if you havnt got that down load it from wammers how to section

It may depend on what year yours is. Mine is 2001 DT. Leave it unlocked after taking the key out, have everything ready and as Brian says, change the battery sharpish. Then put the key in the ignition and start it up. That was enough to re synch mine. Good luck.
P.S. Use good batteries, not market stall poundshop types.

I'd leave the drivers door open, re closing the key fob at the back was always tricky, if you put it back in the ignition it tends to sync back up no issues. Mine rune out quite often so I carry quite a few spares.
