Just changed the buttons on one of my key fobs and changed the batteries on the other, As instructed I tried to re sync by unlocking the car from the driver side with the key and immediately pressing the button, guess what? I now cannot start the car with either key as the car has disabled them. The doors will not open or the engine start, any ideas? the car is a 1995 model

Do you have a led light in your key, if so does it flash when you press the lock or un lock button, mine is a 1998 model so i am not sure if this trick will work on your model, put key in drivers door, press lock button on key,turn key to the lock position and hold for a second or two, turn key back again and remove still holding the button then release and see if that worked, if not try the same again turning key to the unlock position, i wrk weekends in a 4x4 garage and this trick has worked everytime on the range rovers we have in, hope this works for you
