Is it worthwhile fitting a K&N airfilter in itself to a TD5 as a starting point or is does this in itself not give any advantages.

It is a 2002 model

Unless you are going to do other mods such as a bigger intercooler then I'd save my money.
There are better filters than K&N for the same money and they dont need oiling.

Made a noticeable difference on my NA.

It was noticeably louder...

it was quicker up hills, marginally.

GOt it on the 300 still, no idea if it makes a difference never had a proper one. Sounds nice though.

Still not a TD5 though...
