Morning all!
Last night me and the Mrs took a trip (from chingford, London) to Huntingdon, just north west of Cambridge. Of all things, to pick up a model car, but anyway.
Some of the most treacherous conditions I have ever driven in in all my life!
The M11 was a death pit, the fast lane near impenitreble due to snow ruts! The smaller roads off the motorway to Huntingdon where amazing!
Up to a ft deep of snowdrifts on the banks.
Saw a few fellow landy owners on the way, one pulling a Merc up a hill.
All in all, the landy performed amazingly!
179 Miles, just over half a tank of fuel used (I don’t think that’s all that bad)
It’s the landys first longer trip since being back on the road this week after a mini 3 month restoration fixing some rot issues and other minor things.
Was anyone else up this way or encountered similar white out conditions?
