Just joined yesterday and realised I haven't introduced myself.
I have just bought my first Landy. 1988 Defender 90, 200tdi, 2" lift, side exit exhaust and off road chunky tyres. Oh and a Puma bonnet with aircon grill and a nice shiny paint job. Other than that everything else seams pretty standard, noisy and ratterly.
First things first, get the engine to stop smoking so much, the alternator to work properly and the steering not to wander so much, or is this normal?
Would add a picture but haven't sussed out how to do that yet.
