Hi folks, back into Green Oval ownership again with a 1999 Disco TD5. I bought it because of the reasonably solid chassis, but it does have the following faults that need rectification due to a short MoT:

3 Amigos on intermittently
SRS lamp lit

If I can I'll try to acquire a Nanocom or Hawkeye unit, otherwise does anyone in Devon or Cornwall fancy earning some tea and cake?

The air suspension lamp is on too, but as its been converted to coils at the back (and the ACE removed) I guess I can just pull the bulb out?

Cheers for any advice.

Hi, For the SRS lamp -check all the under seat wiring connections. I think they are yellow.

Nanocom will give you the fault codes for all the systems (SRS incuded) then you'll know what to fix and it will disable the SLS warnig too..

dont think to such bodge cos the warnings are SMD LED's soldered into the PCB

I be in Plymouth with a nanocom.

Ok fella, I go to work in Exeter sometimes by car so it wouldn't be a major detour to drop by. Cheers

Ah, didn't realise that. I'm beginning to think finding a secondhand Nanocom would be a good idea....
