I had this interesting discussion the other day regarding 4x4's. This chap was moaning about 4x4's and all the supposed pollution they generate ( busses generate more)
Ok sounds pretty dull so far I agree, however, it gets more amusing as it goes. The chap then proceeded to tell me he drove the Chrysler People carrier !! Now What is the difference between some of the new 4x4's and these people carriers aren't they almost the same large engines bulky machines? Ok maybe some of the older LR's don't exactly have the best condition engines nor do they look the prettiest specially when one takes a few donar vehicles and puts one together from the parts, there is a great multi coloured series trundling around Norfolk.

Sound like a typical case of suckered by the hype. I had a discussion earlier with my brother in law about emissions... he drives an "L" reg fiesta with low compression, probably from worn piston rings.

there's only one thing you can do with people who listen to the hype. That involves a wall, a blindfold and a few rifles! :)

These tree huggers should latch on to the emissions from aircraft. Can't recall the figures but remember something about one flight to USA per passenger, puts out more crap than the most polluting vehicle.

Attaboy Sheddy! Still got your L1A1 hidden away?

I don't need one nowadays m8. If people **** me off I set the wife on them :)

I'm going to Croatia later in the year to play with some "toys". One of the things that my hosts have offered me is hunting .... with an AK! Should be fun.

You're bloody right on that one :D
I still say it's the best hand-held ever made: easy to use, simple to maintain, cheap to buy, reliable, not allergic to sand etc. etc.
