Trying to beat the boredom! My 11 year old helping me change rear prop shaft and replace an engine stop cable.

Very handy for getting in small places, treat him to a propshaft nut removal tool for his birthday he’ll love it

He looks big for 11. Good idea though, my 10 year old grandson is staying with us and my series 3 needs the alternator replacing.

Like it when young kids want to work on older motors.
Get them a little tool box. That way you can find your spanners next time

I held my 5 yr old lad upside down by his ankles and lowered him down into a narrow metre deep manhole to retrieve what I thought was a gold wedding band.
Turned out to be a brass 22mm olive.
Small children are really useful.

Interesting (hand on chin rubbing) I have a nephew who like most children likes wrecking speakers or anything general. If with this virus still restricts many to 12 weeks I could get a nice clean oiled and service Freelander1 cheaply. (Chin worn out)

My lads 10 and keen to help, but 100% unreliable so while I'm turning a bolt with him holding the nut on the other side there's a pretty good chance he's wandered off.
