I have searched and all i keep getting is jumping transfer box or crunchin second, i have neither of these problems however. I have noticed that 1st gear jumps unless i engage it before i remove my hand, not every time but often enough. no other gears have any problems though, its only in first...
Is this a common wear issue? is it ****ed more to the point? I have heard changing oil over to dexron or MTF is recommended for both the gearbox and transfer box, any opinions and could this help with the problem?
Its a 200tdi converted TD, I think its original TD box at 170K miles though.
