Hi everyone, thanks for having me in your forum!
I am the wife of a very excited Richard who has recently bought a series 3 Landrover after many years of admiring!

I have joined this forum in secret to ask your advice:
For Father's Day I would really like to but him something for the landy and it needs A LOT of work. He is excited to take this on and has some knowledge or cars etc but not much re specifically for this one!
Can anyone signpost me to a 'Landy tinkering course' basics in or near south Manchester / cheshire way? I would be very grateful for any direction or steer

Thank you again in advance
Kind regards
Julie (a landy widow!!!!!):)

Welcome, I think you'd be looking a evening courses at your local college for stuff like welding and mechanics

:welcome: the best thing would be to buy him a years subscription here, PM me your bank details and I'll sort it out for you :D

Hi Julie
A welding course would be a good place to start.you will get used to hearing the words holes and chasis in the same sentence
Good luck

DON'T DO IT!!! :eek::eek::eek:

BB is actually the executor of a Nigerian princes estate, who has £1,000,000 pounds (one million) to transfer to you via Western Onion or BACS on receipt of your details as you are the sole beneficiary of said Prince's estate! :eek::eek::eek:

Just buy him a new galvanized chassis, then he is less likely to need the welding course.
