Hi all,

My 1974 series 111 has started to judder of late! Almost like a misfire.

It started off as a little judder every now and again, but today it was a nightmare to get home! constant juddering like it was out of petrol. seem ok when I'm coasting but when I press accelerator its very bad.

anyone else had this problem? any help please?

Could be down a cylinder; check HT leads, plugs etc...

Check any fuel filters fitted aren't clogged

Failing condensor, coil breaking down. damp in the HT leads, worn dizzy cap, worn rotor arm, dirt in the carb, faulty fuel pump, clogged fuel tank filter, water in the fuel, sticking valve, etc, etc. Start with the ignition system then fuel. Or the other way round - take your pick!
