finally got round to signing up, even though I've visited a couple of times as a guest!
Her-indoors runs an all black 2004 TD4 HSE - had it from almost new, n it's done just over 75k now. It's been a pretty reliable workhorse up to now, n it's taken a fair bit of abuse inside (by my standard) but regularly serviced to make sure it runs sweet. (don't want her having the excuse it's broken so she needs to drive my truck)
Now it's got a broken aircon pipe (seen the same pipe in a thread on here) and juddering coming from the rear offside when going round sharp right-handers, which according to the threads I've read could be anything from bushes to viscous coupling! So what with time being at a premium at the moment it's going into the garage tomorrow for fixin. Not using a stealer though - there are some reliable guys on the Slough Trading Estate at PM Autos who were recommended to me and have been trustworthy to date.
I'll let you know what they come up with.
Well it's time to tuck-in for the night - usual early 5am start in the morning!

Update on Juddering : collapsed propshaft mountings!
Today - 27/Mar : collected TD4 from Berkshire Land rover, Maidenhead. Job done, no messing around - both propshaft bearings replaced. BLR comprise the best of the crop from the old Wooburn Green LR dealership that got merged into Stratstone. They are independent now and serious about doing a good job. Dean is the Service Manager there. 01628-566247.
