hi all
as you have probally heard jon lost his fight for cancer on monday.
i have been told by his mum jacky that a few people from landyzone would like to pay there respects on the 23rd of dec.i will need to know how many 4x4s will be coming to harwich as local police will need to sort extra parking
many thanks mark.

I'm very sorry to hear that. He was so full of life on here and I always enjoyed his posts. It sounded like he was determined to get the absolute maximum out of life right up until the last minute. He'll be sadly missed.

thanks people for you kind words.he will be sadly missed.
his mum said that a few people from this site would be travelling down to pay there respects to jon on the 23rd of dec.
we need a rough estimate on how many 4x4s will be coming down as she is worried about the parking near the church.
thanks mark.

Might be worth asking a MOD to move this to the General section, more people will see it then;);););););)

I've reported it pal;)

Rip mate. Glad you are no longer in pain. If its causing consern for his mum Ill only come if some one from over here takes a group of us.

Shame that this likeable man has passed away so young. I hope there will be a good turnout at the funeral. Sincere best wishes to the family.

I can't make, it but please pssson my sincere condolences

Thank for all the posts on this site and the help you gave to everybody on here JON.

May you rest in peace and my sincere condolences to your family.

Today was Jon's farewell.
Obviously an extremely sad event but also a celebration of a great guy.
If I counted correctly there were 11 Land Rovers and Jon's old slitty leading the way.
We caused total gridlock around the church :) and I hope it brought a smile to his face.
RIP Jon.

unable to be there,
so near but so far away.

been thinking about the service allday,
saw a funeral passing through town and wondered.

glad jon had some members there,
sad I was not there.

In the cycle of life, we lose one, another will take his place,
but maybe his closest friends will never find another Jon to be replaced,
but that is the Inevitable outcome.

RIP Jon.
I`ll meet you one day.
