Living in the very far north of the Scottish Highland, we are not surrounded by JLR specialists and the nearest one is over 100 miles away, as is the main dealer. However, my 2016 DS has started with early timing chain noise, especially on cold mornings. My nearest specialist hasn’t done a chain replacement before and is unsure of cost etc. The dealer in Inverness won’t even return any of my calls regarding them doing the work and the ‘right person’ is never available when I phone or even call in to the service department. So, I’m looking for a recommended specialist or dealer basically anywhere in Scotland. Does anyone know of one? So far, the nearest one I’ve had recommended is K Motors in Leyland, which is a tad too far at 500 miles! Thanks.
