This request has been spawned by an earlier thread!

As a new Landy owner I am wanting to minimise my spending on stuff and concentrate my spending on the essentials.

A couple of quick questions?

1. Does a car need a jack to pass its MOT?

2. With a limited budget what jack would you buy? Farm / Hi Lift or Bottle / Trolley?

I am planning on doing some Green Laning but also some minor maintenance.

Thanks in advance!

Having had a quick surf on T'internet there are a number of bottle jacks with differing capacities. What capacity do i need for my 90?

Bottle jacks tend to have oddles of power, the little rascals! as long as it can lift 2ton + you should be fine but HELL why not aim for six+ ( safer?). the little 2 ton ones tend to have a smaller lifting hight.

Enclosed is a pic of my 90

What size lifting height do i need?

Thanks again!
