About once a year I get the hankering for a Range Rover,up untill now I have resisted but things have changed this year.My knees no longer enjoy driving with offset pedals and clutch use can become painfull so its auto time.
Comfort is now more important than performance and I would love to buy British.
I had decided that a diesel RR would suit me fine, but then I met an "expert",what you need is a loads of liters V8 on LPG,sounds nice, I dont really like oil burners.
I know that forums give a false view of any vehicle,so I need advice from them that know,I have around five grand to spend,I am replacing my Alfa 156 that only covers about 5'000 miles a year,I also own two Volvos that do most of the work.
When I bought the Alfa I was warned that they were a load of ***t,but mine has been very enjoyable of the last three years.Everyone tells me the same thing about Range Rovers,so are they?
If this time I do go for a RR,what do I look for derv or Lpg? and what model?
Mike
