Tax and MOT exemption good or bad.....?

Some of it is series, screen, bonnet wings. front axle looks to be from a coil sprung model but been adapted to leaf [ no radius arms in brackets] Has power assist ram fitted.

A coil sprung model does not come into the class as series land rover surely?

Do not think it is coil spring [ no radius arms ] just a later axle modified to fit. If chassis is a series then a series it is.
It is all a case of how many points on the government system for modified vehicles.
8 or more to retain original identity. 5 For chassis original or new the same. 2 for suspension front and back. 2 for axles [both original] 2 for transmission [original] 2 For steering original. [Power assist ram will not count as is an addition] 1 for original type engine.
So it is very likely truck still counts as a series. [ the number plate a 1971 J Also says so.

Looks leaf sprung to me, with springs on top of axle instead of under.

BoB, you need to get us more pictures from different angles and closer up please.

Picture posted online so online comments are made.
Personally I don't think it should be classed as a series land rover because it's far from original...
