tech-no!

Hello.
I've just bought myself my first Land Rover. The first "car" I ever drove (briefly) as a teenager was an aging RAF landy (airfields are good to learn on; not much to hit and no hill starts!) and I told myself then that one day I would buy one. Finally, 28 years later, I've done it!
It seems to be a bit of a bitsa (Series II/III) but it's a lot of fun, not every woman I know hates it (!) and, because it's no sort of contender in the motorway Grand Prix, actually quite relaxing to drive.
Trouble is, I bought it as cheap transport but now I can't stop buying stuff for it and taking it to bits when there's nothing wrong with it. Is there a cure?
