Hi All,

Ignorance alert but have attached a pic of what I think is a badly rusted fuel tank cradle. Am I right? The bar element is falling apart.

If so, do you know roughly part cost and repair? Cheers

About £100 for the cradle and about 3 hours of dropping subframe a bit then swapping the cradle - run tank low to reduce weight to be supported first.

We've all seen worse but when you put 60Kg of fuel in, wouldn't want it holding the tank on my car !!

if you had moted my new one on it’s last test
you would have saved me doing the cradle
or more than likely it would have been scrapped
