Hi all
Just wiondering if there is any way of knowing what fan belt my 300tdi 1997 disco NON turbo, needs is it the 1595mm or the 1580mm?

I thought all 300tdi's had turbos.
Can't see what difference whether the car has a turbo or not affects the size of the drive belt.

No sorry i was thinking of my defender what i meant to say was NON aircon.

Still doesn't make any difference to the drive belt, the air con if fitted is driven by a separate belt.

What you want is a ERR 5911. No idea what the length is.

There were two different lenght auxilliary drive belts.I think maybe the alternator pulley size changed, but if you go to any half decent supplier with your VIN number, or the year of your car then they will sort you out with the right one.

1996 models onwards use the shorter belt or the code nicedayforit gave you ER5911
