I have a 95 300TDi and am about to chage the oil 1st time since owning the disco. I have been told to put Auto Transmission Fluid in the gearbox, but do you put the same fluid in the Diffs and transfer box. The Haynes manual says to use EP80 or 90. Can some one let me know What Fluid goes where, I have 15w40 for the engine but this is the only one I'm sure about.

ep 90 in your diffs its a very thick oil

atf fluid for the manual box only. diffs etc use the normal ep80/90.

Thanks for the reassurance. I suppose a trip to halfords should sort it out.
