Morning, I am looking at buying a 110 defender ex mod 1986. Is it normal to find it a imported on a on line vehicle check? Would that be because it was a military vehicle? I am not really sure if this should effect me buying or not. It was manufactured in 86 and first registered in 88. Thanks guys and girls

that's normal, they have the bit on the v5 that says the vehicle was previously registered, declared made 19xx, mines a 1997 with first reg 2004

Yep my v5 says declared manufactured 1992 first registered 2013.

It because the MOD don't have to register with the dvla which is a civilian entity
