Hi all

First post here so be gentle!

I’ve been a bit of an L322 fan boy since I was a kid, and with a new (large) dog coming soon I’m thinking of taking the plunge over the next few months. It will be used more for longer journeys to visit family etc rather then a daily driver.

From the research I’ve done lots of people seem to be talking up the 2010-2012 4.4 TDV8, so that’s the one I’ve been looking at. They seem to suffer with fewer major issues, but correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m unsure to go for something well looked after with higher miles (120k ish) for around £11-12k, or for one with lower mileage for £16-17k. I’ve got my eye on one near me with around 85k on the clock. I’m not planning on running it on a shoe string and appreciate these cars need plenty of TLC.

Any thoughts welcomed!

Welcome to LZ hopefully you will find a good one but take the above advice, look at several and check everything works as small fixes can have expensive price tags. Allow plenty of time for viewing and test drives these are big cars with many features. My personal “Rule of thumb” is “if it smells damp the electrical gremlins will be waiting as soon as you start driving it.”
Enjoy the search, your head will be turned by these beautiful ladies.
Tricky :)
