Im Simon from Austria im 34 Years old and working as a final quality inspector in a big Medical Implant Company.
All my life i always wanted to be owner of a special car, and my first and favourite Matchbox Car was a red Landrover Defender. My ex Girlfriend also owned a 2015 Defender 90 TD in somethink red/ cherry red, i didnt liked the car at all. Im 1,85 Meter tall, dont know how much that is in inch and the car was very unconfortable loud and in my opinion it lways sounded like it would break any minute
So now you will wonder why im here The Thing is im planning a vacation between 4 to 6 Months and i need a Car and i want a car in wich i can sleep and cook and "life" and most important somehow im really atracted to Defenders now and if id buy a VW Synchro or a Ford Transit 4X or a Toyota Landcruiser (thats the cars wich are recommended by all my friends) it would be a big compromise.
My budget is between 8 and 11k Euros not more and i need a defender 110, i dont like the 90`s and they are to small for my roadtrip, so i ask you guys, i found two cars wich i really like but i need your honest opinion

I sell my Defender who has faithfully accompanied me to Scotland and back.
The body has run 256000km, the engine was installed 5000km ago he ran 118,000 and was rebuilt before installation.
The gearbox and transfer case were completely rebuilt in Sheffield by a specialist company.
Engine and transmission run perfectly even after a longer service life, the car jumps immediately.
The car is in very good condition with regard to rust, especially the frame is very well preserved.
The car was rebuilt to a camper, the expansion can be removed without much effort.
The car is H license plate-capable
and very cheap to insure as a vintage truck.
