Lo Folks,
For quite some time I’ve been a sleeper, in March 2017 I bought a stunning full documented service history 03 Disco 2 SE with some very useful upgrades.....Poly Bushes through out....LED lights under the bonnet....did it break down often?....EGR “upgrade” and Alpha tuned.....long story short.....I had an argument with the centre Armco while towing my caravan in May 2017......my no claims bonus nose dived from 10 to 5 yrs....So along came the Terrano......January 2019 and ice......now have 2yrs no claims bonus......ho hum.
So now I have a 01 pre facelift Disco 2 not sure of the model.....Leci seats n sun roof arm rests 7seats (full leather)...and crossed fingers....I look on here quite often....I’m learning....for instance the car came with only 1 key....I still have a key from the 03 and bought a blank blade/key housing (ebay) now to get the blade cut and the car programmed for both keys.... the Active Cornering System has been replaced with anti roll bars.....although the pipe work is still in place.......the car sits a little to low for my liking but when you press the raise button everything works.....the future holds a reversing camera just needs installing and I would love to get the back windows limo’d....I have some front lamp guards to fit...
Currently on here looking for information re a phone/ iPad app...to be able to link to the OBD 2 socket....future facing...(think Zebedee has posted information)
The car will mainly be used for towing t’cavaran and hauling my Stationary Engines to rallies.
Hobbies are linked to my email banner “If fossil fuels ain’t involved I ain’t interested” although “Good” Architecture is a close 2nd....the boat has a Seagull ;-)
