Got an issue with the truck starting atm, when turning the key to start occasionally I get nothing, battery and oil lights on, then pre-heat symbol on ok, then the last turn to start there's nowt, but after a few tries it kicks in and all is good.
This has been happening for a while, since then I have had the starter off to check function, solenoid seems ok and starter engages ok.
I had the feed from the ignition to the starter break in a couple of places, so decided to replace the engine bay loom ( from Autosparks) , pretty straight forward job.
Would welcome any thoughts on what to check next, does seem electrical to me.
One further thought is, I used together an engagement noise when first turning the key which I presumed was the starter solenoid, but not heard that for a while, but most times she starts ok.
Cheers in advance
