Hello,

I’ve been getting this warning every now and again whenever I start up the car. The car doesn’t go into limp mode and I don’t notice any difference in power etc

I’ve it booked in with local indie for some diagnostics. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and would be able to give me some insight into what may be causing it?
 
Ok, I guess a look with diagnostics is next then:)
Get them to record the codes before clearing, somebody here may be able to help with the code if they come back.

Do you do a lot of short runs?
Still wouldn't hurt to check battery is full charged and being charged at the same time as its a quick check.

Cheers! Yea I don’t do any long journeys in it. The fault actually came up after I turned the car on after a quick five minute journey.

Never assume a new battery is fully charged. You've no idea how long it may have been sat on a shelf.
Fully charge with a battery charger & see what happens.
Might be all the old battery needs.
Short journeys are common for gradually flattening a battery.
