hi guys,just a quick one,my interior lights dont come on when you open the door,i was just wondering if it could just be a fuse,they work manually fine,this has happened since the recent floods/wet weather in my area (i did have to go through about 2ft of water a few times) as always many thanks in advance,Lee.

Have you turned them off whilst you have been trying them manually? From memory you hold the centre button for a couple of seconds. It should be in the handbook. Fuse failure should show up on the dash

Are they controlled by the BECM ? Others on this forum will be able to tell you but I would check around the BECM for damp/water if you have been wading. Regards

Dont think you can turn 1 off individualy but with out checking on mine the bush button turns on a different bulb so are you sure the bulb for the curtacy light hasent blown failing that to rule out the hloder/connection try swoping it with the one on the other side

They are indeed switched via the BeCM...

And Tom is correct, holding the button for a few seconds will switch them on or off...message appears on the message centre when you switch them switch on or off....

Can't switch off individual lamps as they are all triggered as one.

Sorry Alan,

My bad :eek::eek::eek:

My handle is from when I used to play an online game called Novalogic F16 Multirole fighter back in the late 90's when I was just a teenager.

I flow in an online squadron called Viper Strike (remember we were kids and this was in the 90's) we were all allocated a V number to designate when we joined the Squad....I was (luckily) the eigth member to join the squad following an online flight test and a few dogfight training session carried out by the online squad then I was invited to join....sounds sad, but it was actually great fun...

So that is were the V8 comes from - originally nothing to do with engines, just a happy coincidence.

Saint came from an online pairing with another virtual pilot called Angel - he was Angel.V10 and we formed an online friendship and we acted as virtual wingmen for each other, we became Saint and Angel (again remember we were teenagers... so this sounded cool)

We flew together for a couple of years in Viper Strike until the integrated Battle Space servers (the online space used to host the dogfights) started shutting down as the game was getting old and other online flight sims were taking over like Jane's and Microprose Falcon 4.0 were becoming the new online dogfight sims....

The Name Saint.V8 has stuck with me ever since....
