Hi all could anyone help with the colour of my seats in my pre facelift 51plate Disco 2? With the weather improving I was hoping to give them a good clean and recolour where needed. Also what silver exterior paint colours were used during that period.

Thanks in advance. Sully.

Have a look here.

Hi thanks for the reply thats actually the site I am wanting to order the colour from having used their products before so I have seen that chart already, however I wasn't sure on the specific colour as especially with the parchment and ivory being such a close colour with each other, hence me reading out to the forum. just didn't want to order and get the wrong one.

If unsure I would cut a small piece from a place under the seat where it cannot be seen and send that to them.
It must be me looking at the pics on the site as it looked to me to be more grey/silver than either parchment or ivory.
There is a faint chance that LR may have records of what went into the car at manufacture, but I am not sure they would have kept them this long.
My 1998 anniversary model has sort of cream coloured ones. I do not know if they used the whole range indicated on the Discovery ones. Further research may clarify and special models may well have had different coloured leather.
Best of luck anyway.

That reminds me

I have some seats which are beige and the material has a lot of holes in it, pretty sure alpaca beige, with black piping.

What actually is it?
Is it dyeable?
Door trims are tatty, as is steering wheel.

So if the vehicle is a 2002MY and body is silver then thats Zambezi Silver, also there was only two leather seating colours available with a contrasting piping for a vehicle of that colour, one is called Tundra Leather thats a very light colour of grey the other is Alpaca Leather which is a light colour beige.
The plastic bits look to be a shade of grey 😊

I’ve never owned a D2 but if I remember correctly the silver colour of the facelift was always Zambezi and so are the upholstery colours, but I may be corrected by one of the many D2 owners on this forum.
