Hi all,
I've been pawing over the various aftermarket intercooler kits from
different manufacturers and stil can't decide which one to go for or
indeed whether to bother at all. I have a secondhand 200Tdi to go into
my 90 and really fancy doing all the work in one go. I can see that
dropping the new engine is going to give me more get up and go over my
2.5TD(RIP) but is it worth the extra £££. If any of you have
experiences with particular maufacturers of kits i'd be most
interested to hear about them.

CHeers!

Hi Dave
Just had an allisport one fitted to my 300 disco the improvement in
performance is excellent, I have not noticed an improvement on the mpg as
yet, but it isn't any worse (saying that my right foot is still going
through the honey moon period).
The allisport lads know there stuff and I can highly recommend them

Hope this helps
Icky

Oh! what's up with the td ?

I have a Jeremy J Fearn intercooler in my 200tdi Disco and cannot
fault it.

Increased power together with increased economy rarely go
hand-in-hand!

try the LRE web site, go to forum at the top left of the page. Then enter
the LR technical archive, then find the post on "how to increase your tdi
performance etc"

It's a more cost effective way i guess
