Having sorted out the issue with my 14CU, are 3AM and 5AM MAFs interchangeable? I hope so as I've just been offered a new 5AM for not much money by a mate who didn't need it.

The only identifying no's I have on my MAF are the Lucas 73242A and AFH55-1 which I guess is the Hitachi number.

If you have a early Hotwire it has the 3am and the later is a 5 am you can fit the later 5am but you cannot fit the ear
Ier 3 am to a later car

Sorry for the delay in replying. Thanks, I've fitted a 5AM from a Jag XJ40 and it works fine.
