Hi, I have my driving test booked for the 18th of Dec and all going well should pass. I have a 1969 series 2a 109 with a 200tdi in it and am struggling to find an insurance company to insure me! Is it a complete no go because of the physical size/engine capacity? If someone could give me some advice or any help at all really that'd be great! Thanks.

It's not just the engine size, your age, new driver, type of vehicle, location all count against you. If you manage to get a quote it will be thousands. Try putting an old git with max no claims on the policy as a named driver. Not the other way round!

Hi Zak,
Have you tried us at all? It's possible that we can offer cover in this instance. The best thing to do is ring us on the Landyzone dedicated number 0800 121 7431 and one of our quotations clerks will talk you through the options available.

Kind Regards,

Dan

The other possible way is to use one of those companies that use trackers to show you don't drive like an idiot.

Cos of your age. End of. All yet mates will be in the same boat and we've all been there done it.
Finally, this isn't feedback or suggestions.
